posted Jan 22, 2010, 6:55 AM by Ryan Anderson
Come sing and dance to world music with the Yurtfolk, LuAnne Harley and Brian Kruschwitz from Indiana. This free family musical program is made possible by the Friends of the Lake Worth Library on Saturday, February 10th at 10:00 am at the City Annex Meeting Room at 414 Lake Ave., Lake Worth.

LuAnne Harley and Brian Kruschwitz are "Yurtfolk" from Manchester, Indiana where they live in a Yurt! What's a Yurt? A Yurt is a circular, domed building that originated with nomadic herders in Mongolia. Luanne and Brian, besides explaining why and how they and their children live in a yurt, will lead an interactive program that will have you singing and dancing to folk music from around the world. They love traveling and experiencing other cultures and will share their original songs in a highly interactive mix of international songs and stories using instruments from accordion to ukulele in this special family event. Tap your feet, clap your hands, play, dance, and sing songs from other countries.

This fun free family program has limited seating, so please call the Lake Worth Public Library at 561-533-7354 to reserve your seats.
