posted Feb 16, 2011, 10:34 AM by Ryan Anderson

In the event you have not visited our website lately, please note that Cooperative Extension will be holding its annual Money Wi$e Expo on Saturday, February 26th (see flyer attached).

The event is free, and it is a wonderful opportunity to attend one of the free workshops that will be offered, including: Understanding Your Credit, Saving Your Home, Raising Money Smart Kids, Predatory Lending and Saving in Today’s Economy. Ongoing activities will include credit reports and credit counseling; income tax preparation for the first 25 to pre-register for the service; home foreclosure counseling; on-site shredding of personal documents; search for unclaimed money; and final judging of the Piggy Bank Contest.

A number of agencies will have exhibits at which attendees may ask questions and receive financial education information. There is no charge for attending the event or participating in any of the activities.

For more information and to register, please call Family and Consumer Sciences at (561) 233-1742. You can also click here to see the press release.

Thank you in advance for sharing this information with your contacts.
