Crime Walk = Success

On Saturday September 26th the TRNA conducted a crime walk.  A PBSO deputy and C.O.P. volunteer joined forces with us and helped make our presence a strong one.  We ventured out of our association boundaries and walked to 323 South E Street to show our support to the victims of a stabbing incident which occurred the night before on September 25th.  Afterwards we patrolled D Street and F Street between 8th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North.  There were no crimes reported during our hour long stroll through the neighborhood but we all had a chance to discuss local issues with Lake Worth’s mayoral candidate Rene Varela who joined us.  We also had three small groups of people inquire about the association’s efforts and seemed interested in learning more.  Overall, this walk was a success.

I’d like to thank Robert Waples, the President of the Residents of Lake Osborne Homeowners (ROLOH) association and C.O.P. member, for driving the C.O.P. vehicle alongside our group as well as the Palm Beach county Sheriff deputy who joined us.  It’s great that we have the support of other neighborhood associations and the PBSO.  Thank you.
