Crime Walk – 10/10/2009 at 6:00pm

Halloween – Events occurring on 10/30 and 10/31 downtown.

--

Hello,

Please remember that on Saturday September 26th the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood Association (TRNA) is hosting a crime walk.  The walk starts at 6:00pm at the First Church of the Nazarene located on the corner of 2nd Avenue North and D Street.  We’ll spend about one hour walking our neighborhood, passing out TRNA flyers, reporting suspicious activity and showing our neighbors that we care.  The PBSO has not yet confirmed any officers will be in attendance but this should be confirmed soon.

In celebration of Halloween there will be two days worth of activities happening in downtown Lake Worth. On October 30th starting at 6:30pm a parade, which will include 16 foot tall puppets and costumed performers, will take place; anybody in costume is welcome to join.  At 8:30pm there will be live music performed by "The People Upstairs" at the cultural plaza stage.  On October 31st from 12:00pm to 10:00pm there will be live music and entertainment on three separate stages.  There are also a host of other events, including a costume contest that will be taking place that day.  Unfortunately specific times have not been posted for all of these events yet.  Please visit http://www.halloweenstreetscene.com for more details and updates.

Make sure to visit http://www.tropicalridge.org for up to date information on your neighborhood and to find out ways that you can participate in making the Tropical Ridge a place we can all be proud to call home.
