TRNA Meeting Notes | 04/06/09

  • Lake Worth Pier scheduled to reopen on Saturday April 25, 2009.
  • Lake Worth received our first government stimulus package for $100,000.  This money is to be used for energy conservation initiatives within the city.
  • ROLOH (Residents Of Lake Osborne Heights) crime walk is on Thursday April 23, 2009 at 7:00pm.  The start location is on the North end of Wright Drive at Lake Osborne Drive
  • The CRA Neighborhood cleanup will be Saturday April 18, 2009 from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Cleanup will be focused on neighborhoods west of the FEC Railway.  Meeting place is at the First Church of the Nazarene located at 1422 Lucerne Avenue.  VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED.  Please call Chris Dabros at 561.493.2550 or email Chris at cdabros@lakeworth.org for more information. 
  • Bryant Park Neighborhood Association is holding its eighth annual Derby Day on Saturday May 2, 2009.  This will be held at South Shore tavern located on the NW corner of Lucerne and M Street from 4:30pm-7:30pm.  Tickets will be $15.  Call Sharon at 561.329.2568 for more information.
  • Tropical Ridge Crime Walk scheduled for Saturday April 11, 2009 from 6:00pm-7:00pm.  Meeting place will be the First Church of the Nazarene.
  • Thank you to Deputy Robertson and Commissioner Cara Jennings who spoke on Monday.
